Based on the success of Dormont's flexible stainless steel gas connectors, a number of gas appliance manufacturers asked Dormont to develop small diameter assemblies for inside their appliances. Responding to their needs, Dormont developed a patented technology to create its line of FlexTubeTM assemblies. An Appliance OEM Design Solutions Team was established that combines our knowledge of customer applications, product design, manufacturing, and component sourcing to offer unique fluid and gas conveyance solutions.
Our Design Solutions Team works closely with Appliance OEMs as they develop new equipment, establish new manufacturing platforms or investigate cost reduction options. We work quickly to provide application reviews, prototypes and production ready assemblies that meet customer driven lead-times and narrow design windows. Dormont's innovative flexible assemblies have been integrated into a wide range of gas appliances used in residential, commercial and foodservice markets.
